This three part workshop invites you to slow down and connect with color and texture through the ancient art of tapestry weaving. In this second session we will learn how to “paint” an image with yarn on our looms. We’ll start with warping, planning our image, and picking our yarn - we may even get started on the weaving.
Come chat and snack, and enjoy the relaxation that comes from slow, cozy creativity.
You will go home with your own small tapestry loom, needle, and enough yarn to make progress on your “painting.”
(HIGHLY recommended that you take Tapesry Weaving #1 first. Also sign up for Tapestry Weaving #3 to learn how to transfer your ideas onto the loom and proper techniques for creating interlocking shapes of woven yarn.)
