A small loom, a pile of yarn, and a very fun project. In this parent + teen workshop, you’ll learn a simple tapestry weaving technique while making a woven bookmark that will keep your place in a real book (remember books?).
We’ll cover the basics—warping the loom, weaving a few core stitches, and playing with color and texture—at an easy, no-rush pace. Expect a little trial and error, a lot of hands-on time, and something useful to take home. Everybody leaves with a tapestry loom, a finished (or very nearly finished) bookmark, and the skills to keep weaving beyond the workshop.
