This workshop begins with a pile of yarn and the true belief that it might become a basket. Using ancient coiling and stitching techniques, we’ll wrap, shape, and persuade yarn into a small, functional form.
The work is slow, repetitive, and unexpectedly absorbing. We’ll focus on tension, structure, and a handful of stitches that help the basket hold its shape and purpose. You’ll leave with a very nearly finished basket, plus the know-how to keep coiling long after the workshop ends. Tea, snacks, and good conversation round out the evening.
